I squeed all over my journal, and then I had to go read your squee because there isn't enough squee in the world for all this adorableness!!
From the first page, it just made me SO HAPPY. We needed this, Oda, we really did. ^_^
... if East Blue is the "peaceful", "weak" sea... I never want to see the others @_@
Perhaps the sea is peaceful and weak, but this particular kingdom is pretty bad-ass? Or, uh, I don't know. I'm assuming Bluejam is really a rather small-potato pirate, but he gets cocky because he's got noble backing. :P
Oooooooo, so - unless scanlations are wrong - Luffy was born in Fuusha. Which isn't surprising, exactly, but... what happened to his mom? Did he know his mom?
It does say that Luffy was born in Fuusha! It surprised me too. Though I don't think Luffy knew his mother, because he said last chapter that Garp was the only family he had.
And then Luffy shouts his dream but we don't hear what he says...? O_o
It kind of looks like Odacchi wanted to save pages. ^^; We all know what he said anyway. And I think Ace's and Sabo's reactions are hilarious! Ace probably does not thing "pirate king" is a worthy goal (Renowned pirate, yes. Pirate King, no!), and Sabo is just amused by such a silly notion. Do you remember how people reacted back in the beginning of the series in East Blue when Luffy said he'd be Pirate King? That, plus the fact that Tiny Luffy is a little shrimp of a boy. XD
I want and do not want to know what happened to Sabo after this. Luffy did say that Ace was his one and only brother, and it's not like Luffy to assume that someone he loves is dead if he doesn't know for sure. So either he's dead or he... officially broke the bond somehow, which would be almost as painful. ;_;
